unfortunately, i found out on the first day out to Chicago that my Nikon SLR has apparently been recalled.
luckily, i still had my point&shoot with me. but i’m still pretty bummed i didn’t get to shoot the way i wanted to…cuz this city is beautifullll~

and now onto my favorite part of this 3 day culture trip.
this is one of the oldest towns in Taiwan. all the housings are still the same as they were many years ago…

After Chinese New Years, it was time for me to venture off into the South of Taiwan and learn some culture.

Taking the “Gao Tieh” – it’s pretty much a train on steroids.
